Project: RANSOM NOTE
Level: Beginning
As an introduction to typography, this assignment helps students understand how typographic choices support the message.
Students are asked to compose a short, humerous ransom note that includes actions, demands and an ultimatum.
They then use type specimens gathered from newspapers, magazines and other sources to design the note. Images may be used if the design emphasis clearly on the typography.
